Where in the world is Ivan?!?
Apr 20, 2006

Ivan is a tourism manager, educator, travel writer, tour organizer, and heritage activist. A feisty advocate for the preservation of Philippine architectural heritage, he talks about his personal travels and advocacy in his blog Ivan About Town, named Best Travel Blog at the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards.

Did you know that the instrument used in the Lonely Planet theme is the kubing, a bamboo jaw harp from the Philippines?

Hi Ivan, Although I never leaved a comment, I´m a long time fan of your blog and always enjoyed your travel photos. My German husband saw your blog about your trek on Mt. Pinatubo, he got interested. We will definitely going to hike Mt. Pinatubo when we visit my family on coming December. Just for interest, are you also a capampangan ?
